Dogecoin QR Code Generator

Make a QR code for your Dogecoin address, with an optional DOGE amount. The address checksum is verified in your browser before the code is drawn.

Starts with D, A or 9. Its checksum is verified here.

Leave it empty and the payer enters the amount. With an amount, the code becomes a payment link that most wallets fill in for them.

Double-check the address and network — payments can’t be reversed.

What a Dogecoin QR code is

A Dogecoin QR code is a static QR code that stores a Dogecoin receiving address, optionally with an amount in the dogecoin: payment format, so a wallet can scan it and fill in the payment details.

Paste a Dogecoin address and you get a code any Dogecoin wallet can scan. Add an amount and the code uses the dogecoin: payment format — modelled on Bitcoin’s BIP-21 — so wallets that read it open with the amount filled in.

Dogecoin addresses use Base58Check, the same checksum scheme as Bitcoin’s older addresses, and the generator verifies it before drawing anything. A mistyped or truncated address fails the check instead of ending up on a printed sign. The check runs in your browser; the address is never uploaded.

How to create a Dogecoin QR code

  1. 01

    Copy your receiving address

In your wallet, open Dogecoin and tap Receive. On an exchange, open Deposit, choose DOGE, and make sure the network is Dogecoin — not a wrapped DOGE token on another chain.

  2. 02

    Paste it into the generator

Paste the address above. A standard Dogecoin address starts with D and is 34 characters long.

  3. 03

Add an amount, if you want one

Enter an amount in DOGE for a fixed price, or leave it empty so the payer chooses — the usual choice for tips.

  4. 04

    Download and test

Download the PNG or SVG and scan it with a Dogecoin wallet. Check the address and amount before you print or share it.

Things specific to Dogecoin

  • D… addresses

Ordinary Dogecoin addresses start with D. Script and multisig addresses start with A or 9. All carry a checksum, so a wrong character is caught.

  • Amounts in the code

With an amount, the code holds a link like dogecoin:ADDRESS?amount=25. Most Dogecoin wallets read it; the payer can still change the amount before sending.

  • DOGE on other networks

Exchanges sometimes offer DOGE withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain or other networks as a wrapped token. Those arrive at 0x addresses, not D… addresses. A code made here is for the Dogecoin network only.

  • Not a Bitcoin address

Dogecoin and Bitcoin addresses use the same kind of encoding but different version bytes, so a Bitcoin address fails the Dogecoin check. That protects you from pasting the wrong coin’s address.

  • Reusing the address

The Dogecoin ledger is public, so anyone with the address can see the payments it receives. For a donation code that is usually fine; for invoices, a new address each time keeps your history more private.

Where a Dogecoin QR code helps

  • Tip jars for streamers, artists, and musicians
  • Donation pages and community fundraisers
  • Shop counters and market stalls
  • Stream overlays and video descriptions
  • Stickers and merch tables at events
  • Invoices with a fixed DOGE amount

Never put a private key or seed phrase into a QR code. A Dogecoin private key starts with Q or 6 — if what you are pasting looks like that, stop.

Dogecoin payments cannot be reversed. Scan your code before printing and compare the first and last characters with your wallet.

Keep printed codes where nobody can stick a different one on top, and print the address in text beside the code so payers can compare.

This site does not hold DOGE or process payments. It makes the image and nothing else.

Questions about this

Copy your D… address from your wallet, paste it above, optionally add an amount, and download the code. Scan it once to check before sharing.

Yes. The code then uses the dogecoin: payment format, and wallets that support it fill in the amount for the payer.

No. This page makes codes for the Dogecoin network, and the address must start with D, A, or 9. Wrapped DOGE on another chain uses that chain’s address.

If a character is wrong or missing, the checksum fails and you get an error instead of a code. A valid address that is not yours cannot be detected, so compare it with your wallet.

Usually not. Without an amount the payer decides how much to send, which suits tips and donations. Set an amount only when there is a fixed price, such as an invoice or a product at a stall.

No. Validation and drawing happen in your browser. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and may show ads, but never receives your address.
