Shiba Inu (SHIB) QR Code Generator
Make a QR code for the Ethereum address you receive SHIB on. The 0x address is checked in your browser before the code is drawn, and it is never uploaded.
What a Shiba Inu QR code is
A Shiba Inu QR code is a static QR code that stores an Ethereum (0x) address for receiving SHIB, an ERC-20 token, so the sender’s wallet can scan the address instead of pasting it.
SHIB is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, so it has no address format of its own: you receive it at your normal 0x Ethereum address. Paste that address and you get a code any Ethereum wallet can scan; the sender then chooses SHIB as the token to send.
The generator checks that the address is 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters and, for a mixed-case address, verifies its EIP-55 checksum, which catches truncated pastes, stray spaces, and most typos. The code carries the address only, with no amount. The check and the drawing happen in your browser, and the address never leaves your device.
How to create a Shiba Inu QR code
- 01
Copy your Ethereum address
In your wallet, open SHIB (or your Ethereum account) and tap Receive. On an exchange, open Deposit, choose SHIB, and select the Ethereum (ERC-20) network.
- 02
Paste it into the generator
Paste the 0x address above. Mixed upper- and lowercase letters are normal; they are a checksum wallets use to catch typos.
- 03
Generate and label it
Generate the code and print “SHIB · Ethereum (ERC-20)” next to it, so senders pick the right token and network.
- 04
Download and test
Download the PNG or SVG and scan it with your wallet to check the address before sharing it.
Things specific to SHIB
An ERC-20 token, not a coin
SHIB lives on Ethereum as a token contract. Your SHIB balance is held at the same 0x address as your ETH and any other ERC-20 tokens.
The sender needs ETH for fees
Sending SHIB on Ethereum costs a network fee paid in ETH. Someone holding SHIB but no ETH will not be able to send it to you until they get some.
Other networks
Exchanges sometimes offer SHIB on other networks, such as BNB Smart Chain, or on Ethereum layer-2s. Those use 0x addresses too, so print the network you expect beside the code.
Never send to the token contract
Explorers show SHIB’s contract address next to its name. That is not a wallet; tokens sent to it are lost. Encode your own address from your wallet’s Receive screen.
No amount in the code
Token payment links are not handled consistently by wallets, so the code holds the address only and the sender types the number of SHIB.
Where a Shiba Inu QR code helps
- Tip jars for creators and streamers
- Community events and meetups
- Shop counters that accept SHIB
- Stream overlays and video descriptions
- Donation pages and fundraisers
- Stickers and merch tables
Label the network next to the code. A 0x address is valid on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and other EVM networks, and the code alone does not say which one you mean.
Never put a private key or seed phrase in a QR code. Only the receiving address is needed.
Token transfers cannot be reversed. Scan your code before printing, compare the first and last characters with your wallet, and keep printed codes where nobody can stick a different one on top.
This site is not a wallet. It does not hold SHIB or process payments; it only draws the code.
Questions about this
Copy your Ethereum (0x) address from your wallet, paste it above, and download the code. Print “SHIB · ERC-20” next to it.
Yes, for SHIB on Ethereum. SHIB is an ERC-20 token, so it is received at the same 0x address as ETH.
No. The code carries the address only, and the sender enters the amount in their wallet.
Usually because they have no ETH to pay the Ethereum network fee. They need a little ETH in the same wallet to send any ERC-20 token.
This page makes codes for SHIB on Ethereum. Some exchanges also offer SHIB on BNB Smart Chain, where the address is still 0x and the code looks the same — so if you accept it there too, say so in text beside the code.
Yes. A small logo in the centre is fine because the code uses the highest error correction when a logo is added. Keep it dark on light so every wallet can still read the address.
No. It is checked and encoded in your browser. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and may show ads, but never receives your address.
